Hazlo Press

Work: Web design, web development, illustration

Hazlo Press is a local Austin company that produces high quality guided journals to remember your live music and road trip experiences. Lacking product photography, they reached out to help relaunch their website with an illustration-heavy theme. We settled on old school woodcut-styled illustrations that showcase the unique selling point of their products.

Website

Simple and to-the-point, the website was built to showcase Hazlo’s unique products and make them front and center, allowing users to easily find where they want to go. The previous website (seen below) lacked cohesion and easy navigation. The site is filled with custom illustrations that fit the Southwestern and Texan theme, featuring roadrunners and cacti-galore.

Illustrations

With a lack of current product photography, we opted to dive heavily into custom illustrations with a Southwest-Americana theme.
